Mill Creek High School (Georgia) star Jamal Anderson has had high expectations his entire life.

And so far, the son of former Atlanta Falcons All-Pro running back Jamal Anderson (1998) is delivering on that promise.

Rated the nation's No. 5 linebacker, Anderson ended his recruitment Monday, committing to the Clemson Tigers over fellow finalists Michigan State, USC and Utah (his father's alma mater):

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound athlete also held offers from Florida, Miami (Fla.), Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia Tech, Washington and others.

As a junior, he racked up 78 total tackles, seven tackles-for-loss, four sacks, five passes broken up and two interceptions.

Anderson is the 10th commitment in Clemson's 2023 recruiting class, a group that ranks No. 8 nationally and is headlined by Alabama five-star quarterback Christopher Vizzina
