Sheldon High School edge-rusher Teitum Tuioti followed his dad, Tony, from Nebraska to Oregon when he accepted the job as the Oregon Ducks defensive line coach.

On Saturday, the 6-foot-3, 220-pound defensive end/outside linebacker confirmed he will play for him in Eugene, committing to Oregon over offers from Boise State, California, Kansas State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Washington and others:

Upon arrival in the state of Oregon, Tuioti immediately became the No. 2 prospect in the state, as well as the nation's No. 39 edge-rusher

But with Central Catholic tight end Riley Williams recently announcing his transfer to IMG Academy (Florida) - and a commitment to the Miami Hurricanes - Tuioti is the state's top prospect.

Last season at Lincoln Southeast High School (Nebraska), the newest Duck registered 71 tackles and 7.5 sacks.

Tuioti is the second coaches' son to commit to Oregon in the 2023 recruiting class, joining Basha four-star cornerback Cole Martin, the son of defensive back coach Demetrice Martin.

Oregon's 2023 recruiting class consists of nine pledges and is rated outside the top-30 nationally - with a climb likely coming in July.
