For the past several weeks, Valley Christian High School (California) wide receiver Jurrion Dickey has been generating buzz as a potential riser in the recruiting rankings.

On Monday, those rumblings proved accurate, as the 6-foot-3, 210-pound Oregon Ducks pledge became a five-star prospect on 247Sports

Previously rated the nation's No. 59 overall recruit, Dickey's actual ranking has not yet been updated, but it appears likely he'll leap more than 30 spots.

Here's what 247Sports had to say about the Oregon commitment

"Receiver Jurrion Dickey moved up from the top 60 into the top 15 and five-star territory. A three-sport athlete who hoops and owns a long jump approaching 24 feet, the 6-foot-3, 210-pound Dickey has been one of the nation's most dominant players in games, camps, and 7-on-7 events over the last year. His monster junior year in 2021 featured nearly 80 catches for 1,300-plus yards and 19 touchdowns, and his verified sub-4.6 speed joins excellent marks in several combine testing categories. Dickey is committed to Oregon.."

Dickey is one of two five-star recruits currently in Oregon's class, joining Michigan quarterback Dante Moore, who could be in line to move up from his current ranking as the nation's No. 8 overall prospect
