Cypress Woods High School (Texas) four-star defensive lineman Terrance Green is set to make a decision Monday at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET on CBS Sports HQ.

The 6-foot-5, 265-pound lineman, rated the nation's No. 300 overall prospect, is down to a final five of Florida, Miami, Michigan State, Oregon and Texas:

As a junior, Green racked up 40 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss and 5.5 sacks.

So, where is he headed?

Prediction: Oregon Ducks

Fittingly, Green's lone official visits among his finalists were to Michigan State and Oregon, which gave both programs a big boost in his recruitment.

USC also received an official visit, but has since been eliminated from contention.

But Oregon has a key need along the defensive line and built a strong relationship with Green, selling the talented lineman on becoming a key cog up front in Dan Lanning's defense.

That pitch appears to be enough to secure the coveted Texan, although it could come down to the wire.

Oregon's 2023 recruiting class consists of 11 pledges and is rated No. 21 nationally.

So far, the Ducks have a pair of defensive linemen/edge-rushers in Layton Christian Academy (Utah) Tevita Pome'e and Sheldon High School (Oregon) Teitum Tuioti, both of whom are three-star prospects.

Green, therefore, would be the group's top commitment.

Overall, the class headliners are Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School (Michigan) quarterback Dante Moore, the nation's No. 2 overall prospect, and Valley Christian High School (California) five-star wide receiver Jurrion Dickey, who is reportedly working on a transfer to national powerhouse Mater Dei High School
