Andrej Stojakovic, son of NBA star, announces top 6; Duke, Oregon, UCLA among contenders

Andrej Stojakovic is the son of former NBA star Peja Stojakovic

The class of 2023 is loaded with former NBA players' sons, most notably the nation's No. 1 overall prospect, D.J. Wagner, is the son of Dajuan Wagner, and top-50 prospect Bronny James is the son of LeBron James.

On Friday, another NBA's stars son trimmed his list.

Jesuit High School (California) small forward Andrej Stojakovic, the nation's No. 21 overall prospect, trimmed his list to a final six of Duke, Oregon, Stanford, Texas, UCLA and Virginia:

Unsurprisingly, the 6-foot-6, 185-pound wing is one of the best shooters in the country.

While Stojakovic hasn't named a leader - he recently added an offer from Duke and is likely to visit Oregon, Texas and others before making a decision - UCLA is the presumed favorite for his services.

"Coach [Darren] Savino and coach [Mick] Cronin have been in a lot of contact with me," he told 247Sports. "We had a great time on the visit. Coach [Nate] Georgeton and coach [Ivo] Simovic, getting to know them throughout this process has been great and just the tradition of UCLA. It's close to home. As much as the fact that close to home doesn't play a factor in my opinion, that specific school with all of the tradition and history it has, it is kind of surreal talking to them."

However, that could change when the dynamic scorer sets his visits later this fall.

Stojakovic's recruitment is one to watch, as he may be one of the best scorers in the country.
