East St. Louis High School (Illinois) offensive tackle Miles McVay is set to announce his college decision Thursday at 5:15 p.m. PT/8:15 p.m. ET.

The massive 6-foot-6, 358-pound offensive tackle and Under Armour All-American selection is down to a list of Alabama, Jackson State, Michigan State, Missouri, Oregon and Texas A&M.

McVay took all five official visits - Alabama, Florida, Michigan State, Oregon and Texas A&M.

But for the past several weeks the recruiting battle has felt like a clash of Alabama and Oregon.

SBLive Sports recently caught up with McVay to discuss each of his finalists - and he had high praise for both the Crimson Tide and the Ducks.

Alabama: “One of the things I like about Alabama are the coaches Nick Saban has developed, the tremendous coaching staff at the school. Coach (Eric) Wolford did a great job at Kentucky. They finished as a finalist for the (Joe Moore Award). That’s a guy who can build an Outland Trophy winner."

Oregon: “The coaching staff is probably one of the best in the country. Coach (Kenny) Dillingham put up some of the most points against Alabama when he was at Auburn, coach (Dan) Lanning is coming off a national championship and coach (Adrian) Klemm has coached in the NFL and played in the NFL and that’s been my goal since I was six - get to the pros.”

So, where is McVay headed?

Prediction: Miles McVay to Alabama

If I would've been asked this several weeks ago, I'd have thought Oregon was firmly in the driver's seat.
