Tennessee Volunteers head coach Josh Heupel and quarterback coach Joey Halzle traveled all the way to California to check out their future quarterback, Warren High School five-star prospect Nico Iamaleava.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pound signal-caller didn't disappoint.

Iamaleava threw long touchdown passes on each of his first three passing attempts of the contest:

Iamaleava is rated the nation's No. 3 overall prospect and No. 3 quarterback in the 2023 recruiting class, behind only Louisiana's Arch Manning (Texas) and Michigan's Dante Moore (Oregon). 

The California product is the unquestioned headliner of Tennessee's recruiting class, which consists of 21 pledges and is rated No. 9 nationally
