Parish Episcopal School (Texas) edge-rusher Tre Williams doesn't fit the typical mold of a three-star edge-rusher.

For starters, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound defensive star isn't the biggest body you'll see lining up on Friday nights.

But the other area that separates Williams from other three-star talents is his hyper-production.

As a junior, he racked up an astounding 129 tackles, 24.5 tackles-for-loss, 11 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and six pass break-ups.

On Thursday, Williams put an end to his recruitment, committing to the Stanford Cardinal over offers from Arizona State, Boston College, California, Iowa, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and others:

Williams is a three-time state champion at Parish Episcopal School, where he has established himself as one of the most fearsome defensive standouts in Texas.

He joins a Stanford 2023 recruiting class that consists of 13 other pledges and jumps from No. 31 to No. 29 nationally with his commitment, jumping Ole Miss and Iowa.
