The Oregon Ducks have finally registered their first offensive line pledge of the 2023 recruiting cycle.

After landing Josh Conerly Jr., the nation's No. 1 offensive tackle, to close out the 2022 class, many believed it was a sign that Oregon wouldn't miss a beat in the transition from Mario Cristobal to Dan Lanning and Adrian Klemm at the offensive line position.

Instead, it took until early October - and several near-misses - for the Ducks to land their first 2023 offensive line pledge.

>>> Prediction: Oregon Ducks to land Under Armour All-American selection

It came Friday, as Palm Desert (California) three-star prospect Bryce Boulton announced his commitment to Oregon over offers from Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho and Northern Arizona:

The 6-foot-3, 255-pound lineman is rated the nation's No. 998 overall prospect and No. 71 interior offensive lineman by 247Sports

Boulton's commitment may be the start of a run for the Ducks.

Oregon is the favorite to land Under Armour All-American offensive lineman Iapani Laloulu, the nation's No. 7 guard, and are also in the mix for bluechip prospect Spencer Fano, the No. 1 offensive tackle in the West region.

Regardless of how that plays out, however, the Ducks are finally on the board along the offensive line.
