On Wednesday, the 5-foot-11, 180-pound kicker announced his college commitment, choosing the Oregon Ducks:

A 6-star kicker is considered an FBS Power 5 freshman starter and scholarship-worthy special teamer, as not all elite kickers and punters earn scholarships.

"Grant is a phenomenal high school kicking prospect. He is a tremendous athlete with one of the strongest legs in America. Grant does a excellent job on field goal. He hits a big time college level ball off the ground. Grant gets the ball up well and easily has 55+ yard range. His kickoffs are strong. Grant drives the ball deep into to the end zone with 4.0+ hang time. Also a more than capable punter. Grant is a big time competitor who thrives under pressure. He is kicking with great confidence.
