IMG Academy (Florida) junior David Stone is a five-star recruit and the top-rated defensive line prospect in the class of 2024.

Unsurprisingly, the 6-foot-4, 270-pound mauler has an active recruitment - with offers from more than 20 programs.

Early on, Stone has spoken highly of Oklahoma and Michigan State, and laid the groundwork for future visits to Texas A&M and many others.

Last week, he made a return trip to Michigan State and tweeted "home" on a photo during his trip.

"I, most definitely, can see myself being a Spartan come Signing Day," he said.

So, what does he like about Michigan State?

"The staff, like everyone from the assistants to the coaches, everyone seems like they really care for each other, and it’s not just business but a big football family," Stone said.

Still the nation's No. 14 overall prospect doesn't appear to be in any hurry to make a decision.

Stone took the weekend off to relax and re-charge.

Next week, he'll be in Knoxville to check out a suddenly red-hot No. 3 Tennessee, who is set to host No. 19 Kentucky in a top-25 SEC clash.

Tennessee's 2024 recruiting class is ranked No. 6 nationally early in the process and recently added  a key commitment in coveted in-state four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley
