It was a simple question, really.

And Gardendale High School (Alabama) defensive lineman and Florida Gators commit Kelby Collins provided an even simpler answer.

In a tweet teasing an article, Rivals asked "Could four-star Florida commit DE Kelby Collins be on flip watch?"

Turns out, the 6-foot-5, 280-pound All-American selection aw the post, because he quickly answered the question himself on Twitter and shut down the rumor.

"Nope," he wrote.

To be completely fair to Rivals, the article simply pointed out that Collins had recently taken a visit to Alabama and said "it would be a surprise if he flipped."

Still, it provided a humorous moment.

Collins is rated the nation's No. 72 overall prospect and No. 8 defensive lineman.

He committed to Florida in August, choosing the Gators over Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and others.

In just eight games as a. junior, Collins racked up 75 total tackles, 20 tackles-for-loss and 12 sacks.

Florida's 2023 recruiting class is No. 9 nationally and Collins is the top-rated prospect in the group, narrowly edging out Boone (Florida) four-star wide receiver Aidan Mizell and Wharton (Florida) four-star defensive back Dijon Johnson.
