UPDATE >>> Julian Sayin, nation's No. 2 quarterback, commits to Alabama Crimson Tide

Class of 2024 Carlsbad High School (California) star Julian Sayin, the nation's No. 2 quarterback, is ready to make a decision.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound five-star quarterback will announce his college commitment Wednesday at approximately 1:45 p.m. PT/4:45 p.m. ET on ESPN's "College Football Live."

"The three finalists are LSU, Georgia and Alabama," Sayin said.

>>> Prediction: Will it be Alabama, Georgia or LSU for 5-star QB Julian Sayin?

Rated the nation's No. 14 overall prospect, Sayin has visited all three of his finalists, most recently checking out Alabama on October 22.

Here's what he had to say recently about each of the three contenders:

Alabama:"There's so much winning history there. They have 18 national championships. Coach (Nick) Saban, what he's done there and what a great coach he is, he's arguably the best coach of all-time. What's not to like about it?"

Georgia: "National champs... they have a winning history there. They are doing a really good job of recruiting other players, so you know you'll have good talent around you."

LSU: "I love LSU Coach (Brian) Kelly, he recruited me at Notre Dame and came over to LSU. I started building a relationship with the quarterback coach, coach (Joe) Sloan. I really like him. It feels like a family there and they've really treated me and my family well. I really like them."

Since his final recruiting visit, Sayin has really locked in on making a decision, which has meant a lot of discussion with those closest to him.

"I just talked to my close circle - my quarterback coach, my head coach, everyone who has been supporting me throughout this whole process - hearing their thoughts and having a discussion with them," he said.

Sayin plans to early enroll at the school of his choice.

Where will that be?

Fans will find out shortly.
