The nation's No. 2 quarterback in the class of 2024 is set to come off the board this week and the Tennessee Volunteers are building a ton of recruiting momentum heading into their "No. 2 vs. No. 1" showdown against Georgia.

Here's a look at the top recruiting stories of the past few days:

- Julian Sayin, nation's No. 2 quarterback in 2024, set to announce commitment Wednesday; Alabama, Georgia, LSU are final 3

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound five-star quarterback will announce his college commitment Wednesday at approximately 1:45 p.m. PT/4:45 p.m. ET on ESPN's "College Football Live."

Class of 2024 Carlsbad High School (California) star Julian Sayin, the nation's No. 14 overall prospect and No. 2 quarterback, will announce his college commitment Wednesday.

The 6-foot-6, 265-pound athlete has almost 60 scholarship offers to date and is one of the most heavily-recruited players in America, regardless of age.

Tennessee has added several major pieces since Luttrell and Davis started things off, highlighted by consensus Warren (California) five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava and elite Platte County (Missouri) edge-rusher Chandavian Bradley.

"It was before the game," Limar said. "One of their staff came to the game and he was talking to my coach, and I thought nothing of it. Then, my coach walked up to me and told me and it was just... It's safe to say IMG Academy (Florida) star David Stone, the nation's No. 1 defensive lineman, would win just about any Halloween costume competition in East Lansing.

Steve Clarkson, a well-established quarterback coach and father of four-star quarterback pledge Pierce Clarkson, wanted Louisville fans not to storm the field and incur a conference fine.

According to Rivals' Anwar Richardson, Manning will, in fact, graduate early and enroll at the University of Texas in January.

- Kaleb Spencer, coveted linebacker/safety, flips from Oklahoma Sooners to Miami Hurricanes 

While Spencer is a three-star prospect and rated the nation's No. 44 linebacker, he has accumulated more than 20 scholarship offers, highlighted by Arkansas, LSU, Miami, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and others.

In a tweet teasing an article, Rivals asked "Could four-star Florida commit DE Kelby Collins be on flip watch?"

Turns out, the 6-foot-5, 280-pound All-American selection aw the post, because he quickly answered the question himself on Twitter and shut down the rumor.

This time it comes from San Diego, as Lincoln High School (California) four-star linebacker David Peevy announced his commitment to USC over fellow finalists Oregon and Washington.
