As signing day quickly approaches for the class of 2023, Michigan added another blue chip prospect to its class of 2024.
Four-star Bellevue (Washington) tight end Hogan Hansen committed to head coach Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines, he announced on social media Thursday.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound tight end is the No. 6 tight end in the nation and No. 3 overall recruit in the state of Washington, according to 247 Sports, sitting behind four-star O'Dea OL Isendre Ahfua and running back Jason Brown. He's the fourth prospect to commit to Michigan in the class of 2024.
He held offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas and Colorado, among others.
As a junior, the two-way standout logged nine catches for 208 yards receiving eight touchdowns as a junior and was both the top pass-game option and a crucial edge seal blocker in a run-heavy, Wing-T offense.
He played a pivotal role in leading Bellevue to a Class 3A state championship — and produced eye-popping highlights along the way.
