Tampa Bay Tech (Florida) wide receiver Dallas Wilson's recruitment was just beginning to truly take off.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound pass-catcher had reportedly collected offers from Alabama, Colorado, Florida State, Georgia, Penn State and others.

On Tuesday, Wilson secured a verbal scholarship from the Oregon Ducks.

Just hours later, he ended his recruitment, announcing his sudden commitment to Dan Lanning's program:

There's still plenty of projection left in Wilson's development, but he's already delivering production at a high level.

As a sophomore, he hauled in 40 receptions for 874 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging a stunning 21.9 yards per catch.

Wilson is Oregon's first class of 2025 pledge.
