Khmori House, fast-rising California linebacker, names Tennessee his leader, visiting Oregon State, Miami next month

St. John Bosco (California) three-star linebacker Khmori House is quickly building recruiting relationships from coast-to-coast

National championship high school football program St. John Bosco (California) is loaded with future college football talent.

So it's no surprise college football programs from coast-to-coast are in hot pursuit of many of their top players.

For class of 2024 linebacker Khmori House that attention has resulted in a national recruitment with interest from all over the country.

So far, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound 'backer has generated offers from Colorado, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington State and others, but is hearing from many more.

Hoping to gain a deeper understanding of a few of his suitors, House has scheduled visits to both Oregon State and Miami this spring with still-developing plans to take trips to Tennessee and Oklahoma as well.

First up is a visit to Corvallis to check out the Beavers on March 18.

"I really like Oregon State and what they got coming up," House said. "The defense at Oregon State is what I really like. They blitz and fly around. They compete at a high level in the Pac-12."

Next up will be a trip to Miami on March 25, and he believes an offer could be imminent.

"We’ve been talking throughout my whole junior season," House said. "They want me to come down there and meet everyone. An offer should be coming when I get down there."

The California product is drawn to the Hurricanes because of their winning tradition.

"I like Mario Cristobal a lot," House said. "The 'Canes will always be great to me because of their history. With a coach like Cristobal, I think they can rebuild and be a national team again with the right recruits."

For both Oregon State and Miami those trips will give them a chance to catch up to House's current (and admittedly early) leader, Tennessee.

"Tennessee is a great school," he said. "I really like Coach BJ [Brian Jean-Mary], the linebacker coach and coach (Josh) Heupel. I talked to both of them right before dead period and everything is great. They currently are my leader and I’m sure I’ll like them more when I visit."

It's still early in House's recruiting, but he should get more clarity following his crucial spring and summer visits.
