Notre Dame completes flip of Penn State trio, adds Logan Imes

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's basketball program is feasting on former Penn State recruits.

After starting the week by adding State College Area (Pennsylvania) three-star shooting guard Braeden Shrewsberry and Brewster Academy (New Hampshire) four-star power forward Carey Booth, Notre Dame secured a third former Penn State pledge Wednesday.

That's when Zionsville (Indiana) three-star combo guard Logan Imes announced his intentions to play for the Fighting Irish:

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound combo guard is rated the nation's No. 192 overall prospect and No. 26 player at his position.

As a senior, Imes averaged 16.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

For both Penn State and Notre Dame, the trio of flips was predictable, as former Nittany Lions coach Micah Shrewsberry accepted the head coaching job at Notre Dame in late March.

With the new additions, Notre Dame's 2023 recruiting class is ranked No. 21 nationally and also consists of Northwestern transfer Julian Roper and Penn (Indiana) three-star guard Markus Burton.
