Ford Sports Performance smashes Bridge City 55-0: 6 standouts who deserve more attention

A look at the under-the-radar standouts for Ford Sports Performance

Ford Sports Performance (Washington) stomped Bridge City (Oregon) 55-0 in padded, 11-on-11 spring football action on Sunday.

And the game delivered some serious standout performances .

At this point most of the country knows about O'Dea running back Jason Brown Jr., O'Dea offensive lineman Isendre "Papa" Ahfua, Garfield quarterback E.J. Caminong and Graham-Kapowsin tight end Noah Fox-Flores.

There's even already been a lot of buzz for upcoming young defensive stars F.A. Siale (O'Dea) and David Schwerzel (O'Dea).

So here's a look at six players who stood out and deserve more attention:

LB Jabez Tuaoa (Kentwood, 2024) - The defensive MVP of FSP's big win, Jabez Tuaoa did it all Sunday.

When the 6-foot-1, 220-pound 'backer didn't have an untouched pursuit angle to the ball-carrier, he was chucking blockers aside and delivering some of the game's biggest hits.

Tuaoa checks the athleticism box without question, but he also showcased his ability to dominate a football game from the linebacker position this weekend.

It was a truly special performance - one that drew heavy praise from Seattle Seahawks legend K.J. Wright in the booth.

RB Navarre Dixon (Emerald Ridge, 2024) - The two-time state champion wrestler rumbled his way to an offensive MVP showing.

Dixon is a 5-foot-10, 205-pound back who can make a defense pay once he gets going North-and-South.

But he also has the patience to wait for his blocks to develop.

Dixon also showed off his athleticism with a series of backflips - and dance moves - after reaching the endzone against Bridge City.

DB LaRon Paige (Spanaway Lake; 2025) - The 5-foot-8, 160-pound defensive back doesn't play like his listed roster measurements.

Paige flys around, throwing his body at the opposition like it's a weapon.

Despite his size, the Spanaway Lake star delivered some of the game's biggest hits.

On Sunday, he was FSP's "Honey Badger."

Zaydrius Rainey-Sale (Bethel, 2025) - Talk about big hits, Zaydrius Rainey-Sale is rated the nation's No. 71 overall prospect and No. 11 linebacker in the class of 2025 for a reason.

The athletic 6-foot-2, 215-pound defender can flat-out hit and has a relentless motor.

He's a prototypical linebacker on the field and should be a national recruit.

Ambrose Marsh (Eastside Catholic, 2024) - Ambrose Marsh was all over the field Sunday, and should've had two pick-6s.

In the first quarter, Marsh perfectly timed his break on the football and got two hands on the ball before it fell to the turf.

But he made up for it in the second half by delivering an INT-turned-touchdown that appears to be called back due to a mercy rule (and not an unnamed penalty).

Marsh was also a disruptive force in the backfield on run plays, registering a couple of tackles-for-loss in a game that showcased his versatility.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound defensive back holds offers from Nevada and UNLV, but more could - and probably should - be on the way.

Jabez Woods (Graham-Kapowsin, 2024) - The under-appreciated three-star wide receiver didn't have to do much in FSP's blowout victory, but he still managed to make a special play, taking a short screen pass and cutting inside two defenders for an impressive scamper into the endzone.

If schools are looking for the "next man up" on their boards, Woods is likely to become a popular candidate.
