Oregon HS football duo receives Pac-12 Conference scholarship offers

A pair of Three Rivers League football prospects receive Pac-12 offers Tuesday night

A pair of Three Rivers League League standouts picked up major scholarship offers Tuesday night.

Fast-rising 2024 Tualatin high school football tight end Jayden Fortier and newly-arrived 2025 West Linn two-way standout Baron Naone announced offers from the Arizona Wildcats.

For Fortier, the Pac-12 offer is the latest in his rise to being considered arguably the top Oregon prospect in 2024.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound pass-catcher has made the leap this offseason and emerged as a sure-fire Power 5 conference talent.

Fortier is not only a high-end football prospect, but he also showcased his athleticism on the basketball court this winter, contributing nine points and 15 rebounds in Tualatin's 6A state championship victory over West Linn.

He has also recently clocked a 4.65 laser-timed 40.

Locally, his recruitment is intriguing, as he's yet to earn offers from Oregon and Oregon State, both of whom already have tight end pledges in 2024.

Still, there's little doubt his ascension is going to have both programs taking another look.

As for Naone, the versatile 6-foot-4, 230-pound tight end/edge-rusher has become one of the hottest prospects in Oregon.

The West Linn standout holds scholarships from Arizona, Arizona State, Nevada, Oregon State and San Diego State and looks the part of a double-digit-offer recruit.

In fact, he may end up being the No. 1 prospect in Oregon for the class of 2025 if he continues to develop.
