Jaime Ffrench, 5-star wide receiver, 'can't wait' for return trip to Alabama this week

Mandarin (Florida) five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench will visit Alabama on Tuesday

The Alabama Crimson Tide are off to a strong start to the 2025 recruiting cycle, securing four early pledges to make up the No. 2 class in the country.

Leading that group so far is Saraland (Alabama) five-star wide receiver Ryan Williams, the nation's No 4 overall prospect.

Hoping to make it a dynamic duo, the Crimson Tide have targeted Mandarin (Florida) Five-star receiver Jaime Ffrench, among others.

On Tuesday, the 6-foot-1, 175-pound pass-catcher will be making a return trip to Tuscaloosa:

"I’m excited," he said. "I cant wait to see more and spend time with the coaches... build the bond more and more."

He went on to say that the coaching staff and their approach to recruiting him stand out, especially.

Ffrench is rated the nation's No. 20 overall prospect and No. 4 wide receiver, and has been stellar all spring and summer.

He earned SBLive Sports' overall MVP at the Elite 11 All-22 regional in Eugene, leaving defenders in the dust in cat-and-mouse drills and in one-on-one situations downfield:

"The 6-foot-1, 175-pound pass-catcher was nearly untouchable in the cat-and-mouse drill against linebackers and created easy separation in nearly every one-on-one rep against cornerbacks and safeties.

Ffrench looked every bit the part of a five-star talent."

It remains early in the process for Ffrench, and many of the nation's top schools are involved, but Alabama is clearly on Ffrench's radar.

And the feeling is mutual.
