O'Dea (Washington) four-star offensive lineman Papa Ahfua previews upcoming Texas A&M, Miami official visits

Last weekend's Northwest Showcase mega-camp saw many of the West region's top prospects flock to Western Oregon University.

One of the camp's headliners was unquestionably O'Dea (Washington) four-star offensive lineman Isendre "Papa" Ahfua, the nation's No. 2 interior offensive lineman.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound lineman had a solid camp showing and also took some time to preview upcoming official visits to Texas A&M and Miami.

Ahfua also talked about his interest in Auburn, Utah and Washington.

First up is a trip to Texas A&M this weekend, Ahfua's first trip to College Station since his freshman year.

So far, the Washington product said he "loves" everything about the program, but a closer look will be key.

Next up is Miami on June 16, which will reunite Ahfua with Mario Cristobal, who has been recruiting him hard since his Oregon Ducks days.

"The relationship has been going on for a while now," Ahfua said. "At the start of my recruiting process, they were on me. And man, I love them, Mario Cristobal and Alex Mirabal. They are two great coaches, and two great O-line coaches as well."

Ahfua expressed excitement about Washington's in-state recruiting effort - with possible plans to visit unofficially Thursday, as well as detailed interest in Auburn and Utah.
