The Michigan Wolverines hosted a key official visit weekend last week, and since then the buzz about the success of that event has been loud.

Key targets and recruits have hinted about the possibility of multiple new commitments stemming from the weekend.

And it looks like those rumors may be true.

Prediction: I'Marion Stewart to Michigan Wolverines

On Wednesday, Kenwood Academy (Illinois) four-star athlete/wide receiver I'Marion Stewart set a Friday commitment date, narrowing his list to a final four of Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee and Wisconsin:

In truth, that announcement is far from a surprise.

The 6-foot, 180-pound playmaker was one of the official visitors in Ann Arbor last week and has previously made the trip to Michigan several times.

Even before that final visit, the Wolverines were widely considered the team-to-beat for Stewart's services.

While anything can happen, it sure feels like Michigan's big official visit weekend was enough for the Illinois product to shut down his recruitment.

Expect Stewart to choose Michigan on Friday.

What would the Wolverines be getting?

Stewart is a dynamic, do-it-all playmaker who accumulated 1,400 all-purpose yards and 13 total touchdowns on his way to first-team all-state honors as a junior.

Primarily a wide receiver, he also has the ability to be an explosive return man at the college level.
