Prediction: Florida State Seminoles poised for recruiting hot streak, highlighted by 2 5-star commitments

Florida State may soon add multiple commitments

The last week in June provided college football programs with a chance to make an official visit splash.

And it seems few programs in the country were more successful in that aim than the Florida State Seminoles.

Prediction: Multiple Florida State commits incoming

Two of Florida State's top pledges were in town to help with its big weekend, Colquitt County (Georgia) five-star tight end Landen Thomas and Benedictine Military School (Georgia) elite quarterback Luke Kromenhoek.

By all accounts it was a huge hit.

Pine Forest (Florida) five-star offensive lineman Jonathan Daniels seems like a near-lock following the trip - with the buzz about his impending commitment being extremely loud.

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound lineman, rated the nation's No. 11 overall prospect and No. 1 offensive tackle, was already quite high on Florida State before his official visit, but he's now heavily predicted to choose the Seminoles on both On3 and 247Sports

Florida State is also the heavy favorite to secure the commitment of Good Counsel (Maryland) four-star wide receiver Elijah Moore.

For some time, the 6-foot-4, 190-pound pass-catcher's recruitment has felt like a battle between Ohio State and Florida State, especially following an official visit schedule of just those two programs.

Following a final trip to Tallahassee, Moore named Florida State his leader and set a July 4 commitment date

Florida State University School (Florida) four-star athlete Micahi Danzy has been high on Florida State for some time.

The Seminoles were his lone official visit, and following his weekend's trip he declared Florida State his leader.

Danzy is rated the nation's No. 4 athlete (No. 142 overall) and projects as a running back alongside Kam Davis in the 2024 class.

In mid-May, I predicted class of 2025 Venice (Florida) five-star cornerback Charles Lester III would eventually choose the Seminoles and he has now set a July 29 commitment date.

Florida State may land several more commitments before that time, but Lester still feels like a heavy Seminoles lean with roughly one month until his decision date.

There are a few other names to watch, but those are four bluechip recruits who are clearly headed in the right direction for Florida State as decisions near.

Get ready! The Seminoles are poised to go on a massive hot streak.
