Cayden Green to Missouri Tigers? Eliah Drinkwitz hints at 'green' commitment

Missouri Tigers coach Eliah Drinkwitz hints at a possible commitment

It seems we all may soon learn the future home of Oklahoma offensive line transfer Cayden Green.

Following visits to both Oregon and Missouri this week, the transfer portal's No. 1 offensive lineman and star left tackle has a decision to make.

Reading the tea leaves, it seems like Missouri is destined to get some good news on that front.

On Tuesday morning, Missouri coach Eliah Drinkwitz posted a cryptic message that seemed to hint at Green's possible commitment - with a green heart.

Given that green isn't a Missouri color, the timing and circumstantial evidence would seem to indicate the Tigers have their left tackle of the future.

Coming out of Lee's Summit North (Missouri) in the class of 2023, Green was an Under Armour All-American and rated a top-100 prospect nationally.

The 6-foot-5, 316-pound offensive lineman started four games for the Sooners this fall and was projected as the future starting left tackle.

Green is widely regarded as the top offensive lineman in the transfer portal, and one of the best overall players available.

His recruitment has been particularly noteworthy given that offensive line is a massive need for many programs around the country, but the portal is relatively thin on impact linemen.

Suddenly, it seems like the big winner will be Missouri.
