Morgan Beckham, Middleburg (Florida)
Beckham, a Bowling Green commit, struck out 16 en route to a perfect game against Gainesville. Middleburg won the game 4-0.
Mia Brahe-Pedersen, Lake Oswego (Oregon)
Brahe-Pedersen broke her own state records in the 100 and 200 meters at the Secure Storage Summit Invitational, winning the two events with times of 11.08 and 22.61 seconds, respectively. The junior also holds the Oregon all-conditions 100 record at 11.07. Brahe-Pedersen ranks first nationally in the 100 and second in the 200 this spring.
Cierra Cole, Hamilton (Montana)
Cole hit for the cycle in a 12-4 victory over Butte Central. She completed the cycle with a sixth-inning home run.
Tatum David, Richland County (Illinois)
David soared up the national 1,600 rankings with a winning time of 4:40.38 at the Little Illini Conference championships. The senior holds the third-fastest 1,600 time this spring and is No. 1 in the 3,200 at 9:48.94.
Morgan Davis, Saraland (Alabama)
Davis set new Alabama state records in the long jump (20-8.25) and high jump (6-0) at the Class 6A state meet. The Kentucky signee is tied for the national high jump lead and ranks fourth in the long jump. She also won the 100 (11.63) and 200 (24.06) to finish her decorated high school career with 13 individual gold medals.
Madison DeCota, Coe-Brown (New Hampshire)
DeCota threw a two-hitter with 16 strikeouts and went 2 for 2 at the plate in a 3-0 victory over Pelham.
Miali Guachino, Great Oak (California)
Guachino went 4 for 4 with two home runs and four RBIs in a 5-0 win over Arcadia. The Ole Miss commit also pitched a complete game, giving up one hit (a leadoff single) while striking out 15.
Katrina Hagberg, Deuel (South Dakota)
In a five-inning, 10-3 victory over Milbank, Hagberg recorded all 15 outs via strikeout and didn’t allow a hit. Hagberg walked three and surrendered three unearned runs. The sophomore also went 3 for 4 at the plate with two RBIs and three runs scored.
Heidi Hudson, Sumrall (Mississippi)
Hudson became the best girls high jumper in Mississippi history with a leap of 6-0 — tying the national lead — at the Class 4A state meet. The senior also earned a gold medal in the long jump with a top mark of 20-0.25. She is a three-time state champion in both events.
Shelbie Krieger, Rootstown (Ohio)
Krieger threw a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts as Rootstown blanked Southeast, 8-0. Krieger, a junior, is committed to Miami (Ohio).
Zoe Prystajko, Huntington Beach (California)
Prystajko, a Stanford commit, struck out 15 in a shutout performance as Huntington Beach took down Westlake, 2-0.
Mady Rowell, Columbia (New Jersey)
Rowell threw a no-hitter and fanned 15 in a 7-0 shutout of Morristown.
Kaitlyn Terry, Greenway (Arizona)
Terry struck out 15 in the circle and blasted a two-run home run at the plate in a 6-2 win over Coconino. Later in the week, the UCLA signee homered again while throwing a two-hitter with 16 punch-outs as Greenway edged Paradise Honors, 1-0. Terry has 23 homers this spring.
Jordyn Thibodeaux, Calallen (Texas)
Thibodeaux, a freshman, belted a pair of home runs and struck out 17 in the circle as Calallen cruised past Sinton, 17-3.
Madison Whyte, Heritage (Virginia)
Whyte won the 200 (22.81) and 400 (52.49) at the East Coast International Showcase. The senior ranks second in the country this spring in the 400 and third in the 200.
