We have 10 players nominated this week for SBLive’s South Carolina Boys Basketball Player of the Week from Jan. 15-20 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Jaylen Tillman, Richland Northeast

The 6-foot-6 senior scored 24 points and pulled down 15 rebounds in the Cavaliers’ 51-49 victory over Lugoff-Elgin.

Drew Spires, Richard Winn Academy

The 6-foot-2 senior poured in a career-high 36 points on 14-of-20 shooting as the Eagles raced past Wardlaw Academy 86-42. Then he topped off his week by scoring 33 points and going over 1,000 for his career in a 65-24 win over Laurens Academy. Spires is averaging 19.6 points per game.

Michael Jones, Pinewood Prep

The 6-foot-5 senior posted 20 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals with only one turnover in the Panthers’ 70-41 win over Laurence Manning Academy.

Evan Enos, James F. Byrnes

Enos scored 27 points, with most coming on shooting 7-of-9 from 3-point range, as the Rebels ran away from Gaffney 93-66. That’s well above the 6-foot-7 junior’s average of 9.4 points.

Braylen Silver, Greer Middle College

Silver had 27 points, 4 rebounds and 7 steals in a 67-44 win over Greenville Tech Charter.

Tilden Riley, Orangeburg Prep

The 6-foot-4 sophomore had 28 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocked shots in a 64-45 win over Palmetto Christian.

Clyde Mauldin, Porter-Gaud

Mauldin scored 18 points to help the Cyclones overcome the absence of their leading scorer and rebounder to down First Baptist 59-52.

Kenard Heyward, Carvers Bay

The 5-foot-9 sophomore guard scored 30 points in a 59-56 loss to Johnsonville.

Conrad Balder, Williamsburg Academy

Balder led the way with 23 points as Williamsburg beat Lee Academy 65-50.
