We have 10 athletes nominated this week for SBLive’s South Carolina High School Athlete of the Week from March 11-16 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, March 23 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Peyton Rogers, West Florence, Baseball

The Knights’ ace was at his best while throwing a one-hitter with 16 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over region rival Myrtle Beach. Rogers is a South Carolina commit.

Jake Morris, Lugoff-Elgin, Baseball

The Clemson commit threw hitless ball with 10 strikeouts during his time on the mound and was also 1-for-2 with an RBI as the Demons beat Lexington 5-4.

Jaidyn Devore, Barnwell, Softball

Devore is on this list again with yet another standout performance. This time she threw a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts as the War Horses beat Silver Bluff 2-0.

Ayden Leaphart, Gilbert, Softball

Leaphart was 2-for-4 with a walk-off home run and 3 RBIs as the Indians overwhelmed Fox Creek 13-2 in five innings.

Sami Ruby, Mauldin, Girls Soccer

Ruby scored two goals to help the undefeated Mavericks down T.L. Hanna 8-0. That gives the senior striker four goals for the season.

David Liboyi, Dutch Fork, Boys Soccer

Liboyi had two goals and an assist in the undefeated Silver Foxes’ 4-0 victory over Brookland-Cayce. The senior striker is having a standout season, with 21 goals in 12 games to date.

Keinde Woods, Manning, Boys Track and Field

Woods swept the 800 meters and 1600 meters events in the 2024 Clarendon County Championships.

Shamya Wilkins, Broome, Girls Track and Field

Wilkins ruled the sprints by taking the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash in a meet hosted by Broome.

Reagan Haggard, Chapin, Softball

Haggard had a huge game by smashing two home runs and driving in six runs as Chapin downed North Augusta 8-5.

Allie Davis, Wagener-Salley, Softball

Davis had a home run, double and four RBIs as the War Eagles beat American Leadership Academy 15-9.
