We have 10 players nominated this week for SBLive’s South Carolina High School Baseball Player of the Week from March 10-16 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, March 23 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Peyton Rogers, West Florence

The Knights’ ace was at his best while throwing a one-hitter with 16 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over region rival Myrtle Beach. Rogers is a South Carolina commit.

Jake Morris, Lugoff-Elgin

The Clemson commit threw hitless ball with 10 strikeouts during his time on the mound and was also 1-for-2 with an RBI as the Demons beat Lexington 5-4.

Jake Peterson, Chapin

Peterson had a major impact in the Eagles’ 7-2 win over Brookland-Cayce. At the plate, he was 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBIs. Peterson got the win on the mound, too, allowing two hits and two runs with seven strikeouts in five innings.

Kaden Myers, Mid-Carolina

Myers smashed a solo home run and picked up the save on the mound as the Rebels beat River Bluff 3-1.

Ethan Rollinson, Dutch Fork

Rollinson was 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and got the save as the Silver Foxes held off A.C. Flora 3-2.

Jackson Huff, Loris

Huff threw a three-hitter with eight strikeouts and no earned runs allowed in a 5-2 win over Aynor. He also doubled and scored a run.

Torion Davis, Darlington

Davis tossed a three-hitter with eight strikeouts and a walk as the Falcons beat Lakewood 4-1. In addition, Davis was 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs in an 8-0 win over Lakewood.

Tyler June, Laurence Manning Academy

The South Carolina commit was 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs as the Swampcats beat Florence Christian 7-2.

Colby Richardson, Pee Dee Academy

The junior left-hander threw a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts as the two-time defending SCISA 3-A state champions beat Wilson Hall 5-0.

Slaide Burd, Hilton Head Christian

Burd was 2-for-2 with a pair of walks and 4 RBIs in the Eagles’ 13-3 pounding of Beaufort. He was also 2-for-2 with 2 RBIs in a 17-1 win over Beaufort and 2-for-2 in a 17-0 win over Colleton Prep.
