Congratulations to Harlingen girls basketball guard Avery Hinojosa for being voted SBLive’s Texas High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 14-20!

The senior scored 22 points to lead Harlingen to a 62-56 win over Laredo Alexander in 6A girls basketball playoffs.

Hinojosa received 53.82% of the vote, beating out Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial's Keira Lavers who finished second with 41.59%.

KyeRon Lindsay, Denton Guyer

Lindsay dropped a game-high 21 points to lead the Wildcats to a 67-55 district championship win against McKinney.

Chancellor White, Foster

The senior point guard recorded 27 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists against Fort Bend Marshall.

Kenneth Lewis, Washington

The junior forward dropped 33 points, 14 rebounds and was 15-of-26 from the floor in a win against Wheatley.

Isaac Legier, Smoking for Jesus Ministry

The senior point guard recorded two 30+ point games in wins against Salem Sayers Baptist Academy and Lifegate Christian, and had a double-double (19 points, 18 rebounds) in a win over Annapolis Christian Academy.

TJ Burch, Trinity Christian

The junior point guard scored 31 points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals and was 14-of-19 from the field in a win over Cornerstone Christian.

Clinton Onwuzurike, IDEA College Prep

The senior guard recorded a triple-double (21 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists) along with two steals, and three blocks in a win against Idea Academy.

Michael Thomas Jr., Calvert

The junior point guard dropped a triple-double (26 points, 21 rebounds, 10 assists) in a win against Buckholts.

David McKnight, La Vega

The senior guard had a double-double (26 points, 10 rebounds) against Madisonville.

Jordan Balderas, Ltyle

The junior guard scored 23 points along with 17 boards and was 11-of-14 from the field in a win over Karnes City.

Chris McDermott, Washington

The sophomore forward was 11-of-20 from the field with 26 points, 22 rebounds, one steal, and three blocks in a win against Wheatley.

Nick Zuecher, Center Point

The senior 'big man' dropped a 30 piece along with 13 rebounds, eight blocks, and two assists in a win against Goldthwaite.

Marvin Glaspie III, Smoking for Jesus Ministry

The senior shooting guard had 31 points, seven rebounds, six steals, and two blocks in a win over Annapolis Christian Academy.

Josh Davis, Grapevine Faith Christian

The senior guard scored 37 points, nine rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocks in a win against Kingdom Collegiate Academy.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Aaliyah Chavez, Monetery

The freshman recorded 20 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in a win over Plainview.

Khia Robertson, Boswell

The senior shooting guard scored 34 points, five rebounds, and one steal in Boswell's win against Fossil Ridge.

Brooklyn Jaeger, Fayetteville

The junior forward recorded two 30+ point games over a two-game win span against Prairie Lea and D'Hanis.

Zachara Perkins, Houston St. Pius X

The sophomore forward had a double-double (25 points, 12 rebounds) along with three assists, and five blocks in a win against St. John.

Jennah Savage, St. Thomas Episcopal

The senior point guard scored 24 points, nine rebounds, five steals, and two blocks in a loss against Christian HomeSchool Sports Ministries.

Amarachi Kimpson, Little Elm

The junior point guard scored 28 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks in Little Elm's loss to Plano.

Ananda Jenerson, Southwest Christian

The freshman point guard was 12-of-22 from the field and had 32 points, seven assists, three steals, and three blocks in a win against McKinney Christian Academy.

Carleigh Wenzel, Antonian Prep

The senior point guard dropped 34 points, 11 rebounds in a loss to Incarnate Word- along with 18 points, nine rebounds, five assists, three steals, and two blocks in a win over Geneva.

Calyssa Sevier, Lytle

The sophomore point guard tallied 56 points, 21 rebounds, and 14 steals across a two-game win span against Tidehaven and Nixon-Smiley.

Kennedy Carlyle, Hyde Park

The sophomore guard dropped two 30+ point games in a loss to St. Michael's and a win over Lutheran South Academy.

Harlie Gallaspy, Flour Bluff

Gallaspy scored 22 points to lead Flour Bluff to a 51-40 victory over Brownsville Veterans Memorial in 5A girls basketball playoffs.

Keira Lavers, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial

Lavers scored 21 points in a 76-35 win against Donna in the 5A girls basketball playoffs.
