Look: Che Nwabuko runs away from field in 100-meter dash at UIL State Track & Field Meet
Nwabuko ran a school-record time of 10.17
AUSTIN - It was a banner day for Che Nwabuko at the UIL State Track and Field Meet on Friday.
Nwabuko, a senior, won two individual state titles (the 100 and 200 meters) and ran a leg on the winning 4x100 meter relay team. That's three gold medals for Nwabuko.
His winning time in the 100 meters was 10.17, which set a school record. His winning time in the 200 meters was 20.53, which set a new Class 5A state record.
Nwabuko recently wrapped up his football career at Manor where he racked up 3,446 all-purpose yards and 30 touchdowns. He has signed to play college football for Pittsburgh.
