Who were the best high school softball players throughout the Lone Star State this year? See which standouts won our end-of-season superlative awards and earned spots on SBLive’s 2022 All-State Texas Softball teams

With six newly-crowned state champions celebrating across the Lone Star State and the 2022 Texas high school softball season officially in the books, it’s time to hand out some hardware to the state’s most dominant players on the diamond.

SBLive Texas will recognize the top pitchers, slappers, power hitters and defensive stars in high school softball around the state this year with our All-Region (Central, East, North, South and West) Texas Softball teams before wrapping up our end-of-season awards by unveiling SBLive’s 2022 Texas All-State Softball teams on Saturday, June 18th.

We started our end-of-season awards countdown by reviewing the top performing high school players in each part of the Lone Star State this year with the release of our five sets of all-region teams and awards.

Now, it’s time to turn our attention to the bigger picture. We’re wrapping up our end-of-season softball honors by revealing SBLive’s 2022 All-State Texas Softball teams, which seeks to recognize the state’s most elite players from all classification levels during the past season.
