Jhett Jones scores two receiving touchdowns to lead the Eagles into the state 3A Division 1 semifinals
DENTON, Texas — Jhett Jones scored two receiving touchdowns to lead Brock to a 30-19 victory over Whitesboro on Thursday night in the UIL 3A Division 1 Region 1 championship game.
The victory puts the Eagles (10-4) in the Texas high school football state semifinals for the fourth time in two years.
Jones caught nine passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns and had a key interception on the defensive side for Brock.
The Eagles move on to play the winner of Grandview and Malakoff in the semifinals on Dec. 8 at The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco.
