UIL Class 6A-1A Texas high school softball playoffs: Regional finals matchup updates, game times
With an exciting regular season and four weeks of dramatic postseason action now in the books, the Lone Star State’s top high school softball squads are marching on to compete in the regional finals of the 2023 UIL softball playoffs.
The road to the UIL Softball State Championships in Austin continues after four rounds of fiercely competitive postseason play have left the state’s most elite eight Class 6A-1A teams standing heading into the Round 5 of the Texas high school softball playoffs.
Who will win their fifth-round matchups this weekend to clinch a regional championship and punch their ticket to the UIL Softball State Tournament?
Here’s a closer look at game times and locations for every matchup this weekend (May 24-27) in the regional finals of the Class 6A-1A UIL softball playoffs, as Round 5 of the 2023 Texas high school softball playoffs gets underway.

Head coaches of UIL playoff teams playing against each other may choose to compete in a one-game playoff or a best-of-three series to determine the winner during the regional finals round of the UIL softball playoffs.
