Photos: West Valley (Spokane) routs Black Hills to advance to 2A girls basketball state quarterfinals

YAKIMA -- Buoyed by a smothering defense that allowed just eight first-half points, West Valley (Spokane) rolled to a 67-36 victory over Black Hills in the WIAA Class 2A girls basketball state tournament on Wednesday.

West Valley will play W.F. West in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 2 p.m.
