TACOMA -- Hailey Hiatt scored 17 points -- including the game-winning basket with five seconds left -- to lift Arlington to a thrilling 50-49 win over Shorecrest on Thursday in the WIAA 3A girls basketball state tournament quarterfinals.
Arlington moves on to face Garfield at 9 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.
