WATCH: Lake Stevens holds off North Creek to win first Lakewood Cougars 7v7 Passing Tournament

First-year starting quarterback Grayson Murren throws four touchdown passes for the Vikings, and is named the offensive most valuable player.

ARLINGTON - After three runner-up finishes in the past, 4A Wesco king Lake Stevens finally closed the deal at the Lakewood Cougars Championship 7-on-7 Passing Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

First-year starter Grayson Murren threw four touchdowns, including two to tight end Isaac Redford, and the Vikings defeated 4A KingCo up-and-comer North Creek, 28-21, in the championship game at Lakewood High School.

Senior standout Drew Carter also caught a touchdown for Lake Stevens, which went undefeated in both pool and bracket play.
