Photos: Kelso lowers the boom on Auburn Riverside, stamps return trip to Class 3A big dance
Not only do Hilanders get rushing attack going, they register three interceptions on defense.
AUBURN - Visiting Kelso, the runner-up in the 3A GSHL, kept its season alive with a 41-21 state play-in victory Friday night over 3A NPSL champion Auburn Riverside at Memorial Stadium.
The Hilanders amassed 320 rushing yards, led by Conner Noah (game-high 128 yards) and Judah Calixte (123). They scored five of their six touchdowns on the ground.
Kelso advanced to the state playoffs for a second consecutive season.
