SBLive’s Washington boys basketball coaches polls: Lynden moves to No. 2 in 2A after beating Sehome
A new speed bump arises seemingly weekly, but the high school basketball season trudges on across Washington through cancellations and new restrictions tied to the nationwide COVID-19 surge.
With a new week comes a new coaches poll.
Coaches across the state cast votes again for an updated boys basketball coaches poll for 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A classifications. Each poll and is comprised of voting coaches from programs across the state in the corresponding classification. Points are awarded on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis. Number of first place votes are indicated in parentheses. The poll is organized by SBLive analyst Dan Dickau.
Bit by bit, the state picture is becoming clearer, but not much changed at or near the top of each poll. Two Wesco programs — Jackson (4A) and Shorecrest (3A) — made entrances after strong weeks. Lynden moved up to No. 2 in 2A after handling Sehome, 62-44.
