YAKIMA - Dawson Adams' back-to-back 3-pointers to start the second half opened the floodgates, and the No. 2 Lions went on to defeat Pullman, 51-34, on Saturday afternoon to capture the Class 2A boys basketball championship at the SunDome

Lynden has now have won three of the past four Class 2A titles - and 11 state titles overall.

Adams and 2A tournament MVP Anthony Canales led the way with a game-high 15 points. Jordan Medcalf added 13.

After Adams sank the two shots from long range, Lynden pushed its lead to double digits for the rest of the game. Its largest lead was 21 points in the fourth quarter.

Grayson Hunt led the Greyhounds with 12 points.
