Alex Buck, Bellevue girls track and field: The sophomore sprinter posted state-leading marks in the 100 meters (12.50) and 200 (26.22) at a KingCo meet at Liberty.

Chloe Flerchinger, Shadle Park softball: The 2A GSL favorites got a home run, double and seven RBI from their slugger in a 17-7 road win over Lake Stevens, reported the Spokesman-Review.

Kyra Gardner, Raymond girls basketball/track and field: A few days before leading her Class 2B team to a WSGBCA all-star victory over the 1B team, the reigning state high jump champion went 5 feet, 6 inches in a dual meet to tie Jayden Smith for the early-season state’s top mark.

Macy Marquardt, Kennewick girls track and field: Already the early-season state leader in the 1,600 meters, the senior became the first girl to post a sub-11-minute time in the 3,200 - 10:40.20 - at the Kennewick Kickoff.

Courtney Miller, Ferris softball: The Saxons’ ace pitcher struck out 12 in a complete-game victory and slammed a three-run home run in the first game, then socked another home run in the nightcap as Ferris swept Pasco, reported the Spokesman-Review.

Sami Potvin, Olympia softball: The Bears’ ace shut out 2A favorite W.F. West by allowing two hits over seven innings, striking out 11 in a 2-0 non-league victory, reported the Centralia Chronicle.

Yanina Sherwood, Jackson softball: The Timberwolves ace pitched mowed down a pair of state contenders last week, giving up just one earned run in a seven-inning win over Redmond, then another complete-game effort against 2A contender Shadle Park, striking out 12 and giving up two hits in a 3-0 victory.

Tatum Thompson, Woodinville girls basketball: The Boise State signee was the talk of the WSGBCA all-star game. She was named the state’s ‘Miss Basketball,’ then went off for 21 points on 10-of-12 shooting in leading the 4A team past the 3A all-stars.

Reagan Ellis, North Creek softball: In the first week of the season, the senior went 7-for-9 at the plate with three doubles, a home run, six RBIs, and nine runs. Ellis also didn't record an error from the field (1.000 fielding percentage) during the first week of play.

Kailei Thompson, Yelm softball: The senior shortstop went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate and scored four of Yelm's 10 runs in the season-opening game win against North Thurston.

Braedon Boyd, Chelan baseball: Fanned nine batters in 4 1/3 inning in an 8-2 win over 2A Pullman, the first in a doubleheader sweep, per The Spokesman-Review.

Jackson Cluff, West Valley (Yakima) boys track and field: His 22-foot, 7-inch long jump set a new meet record and he also tied the high jump record of 6-6 at the Papa Wells Invitational, reports The Herald-Republic of Yakima.

Jake Duer, Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) boys soccer: Recorded a hat trick in an 8-0 shutout of Medical Lake, per The Spokesman-Review.

Parker Ereaux, Lewis and Clark baseball: His sixth inning three-RBI triple fueled a comeback 7-5 win over West Valley of Spokane, reports The Spokesman-Review.

Elias Estrada, Hudson’s Bay baseball: Came in for a relief appearance with the bases loaded against Prairie and logged three outs to seal an 8-7 win after stealing home to secure the winning run, according to The Columbian.

Alex Harris, Columbia River boys soccer: Logged a hattrick in the first half of a 3-0 win at Hockinson after scoring multiple goals in an 8-0 win over Mark Morris, per The Columbian.

Dominic Hellman, Jackson baseball: The Oregon commit fueled the Timberwolves’ 5-3 win over Bothell with two RBI — a home run and a double — on Thursday, per The Everett Herald.

Tyler Howard, Skyview baseball: Hit a solo homer and a two-run triple in a 5-3 loss to Jesuit (Ore.), per The Columbian.

Jeremiah Nubbe, Rainier boys track and field: The senior set a new personal best discus throw of 205 feet, 2 inches on Monday to open the season at Tenino, according to The Chronicle of Centralia. That passed his own previous record by three feet and gives the nation’s top mark to Nubbe, the reigning Gatorade state track athlete of the year and USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field championship.

Jaden and Beckett Turner, Ilwaco boys soccer: Think the Turner brothers’ dominance exists just on the hardwood? Think again. Both logged three goals in the Fishermen’s 7-2 nonleague win over 1A Eatonville, per The Daily News in Longview.

Jude Willis, Ridgefield boys soccer: Notched the golden goal in overtime to beat 2A Greater St. Helens League foe Hudson’s Bay 1-0 on Saturday, according to The Columbian.
