Ariel Ammentorp, Union girls track and field: The Titans’ senior unleashed a personal-best mark of 149 feet, 3 inches in the girls hammer at the Vic Downs Mac Invite to not only take the state’s top distance but to rank No. 5 in the country this spring.

Chloe Flerchinger, Shadle Park softball: The senior ace twirled an abbreviated shutout victory in the circle, striking out eight. She also had three hits, including a home run, and five RBI in the Highlanders’ 2A GSL victory over Rogers, reports the Spokesman-Review.

Amika Garcia, West Valley of Yakima softball: The senior shortstop let her bat do the talking in a 4A CBBN doubleheader sweep of Eisenhower. She went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in the first game then hit two triples and drove in two more runs in the nightcap, reports the Yakima Herald-Republic.

JaiCieonna Gero-Holt, Emerald Ridge girls track and field: Seems to make a weekly appearance on the nominee list. The talented ninth-grader increased her state-leading mark in the high jump, going 6-03/4 at the South Sound Classic.

Grace Haegele, Redmond softball: The Mustangs’ standout was on fire with two home runs and seven RBI in a 4A KingCo win over Inglemoor, and another home run and six RBI in a league victory over Woodinville.

Savannah Hawkins, W.F. West softball: The junior infielder blasted a walkout three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to cap the Bearcats’ four-run inning, and No. 1 W.F. West beat No. 3 Tumwater, 5-3.

Courtney Miller, Ferris softball: The Saxons’ pitcher upended 4A GSL favorite Central Valley by striking out 12 in a complete-game effort, and also slammed a home run in Ferris’ 9-6 win, reports the Spokesman-Review.

Makenzie Misner, Heritage softball: The senior gave up no earned runs in a complete-game three-hitter with seven strikeouts, and scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Timberwolves shocked Evergreen of Vancouver, 3-2, in 3A GSHL action, reports the Vancouver Columbian.

Sofia Nelson, King’s Way Christian softball: The senior did it all for her team against Mountain View - a complete-game five-inning victory in the circle, and a 4-of-4 showing with two extra-base hits and six RBI, reports the Vancouver Columbian.

Tyara Straka, Hoquiam girls track and field: The Grizzlies’ powerlifter put that strength on display at the Grays Harbor All-Country championships, throwing the shot a career-best 45 feet in not only setting the meet record but taking over the state’s top mark from Hanford’s Katelynn Gelston (43-33/4).

Allie Thomsen, Jackson softball: The sweet-swinging ninth-grader just keeps cranking them out. The outfielder/pitcher hit two home runs and accounted for a career-high six RBI in the No. 1 Timberwolves’ win over Stanwood. She also had a triple and four more RBI in a victory later in the week over Marysville Getchell.

Isabelle Wright-Cloran, Yelm girls track and field: The senior set a new Yelm High School record in the triple jump with a jump of 34’10 - the previous record was 34’6. 

Taylor Fitch, Woodinville softball: Across a three-game span, the senior catcher batted .444 with one home run, three doubles, eight RBIs and had two intentional walks.

Tori Trotter, Timberline softball: The junior went 4-for-7 at the plate with two home runs, five RBIs, and scored four runs across a two-game win span against Montesano and Capital. 

Jasmyn Polanco, Timberline softball: The sophomore right-hander tossed 14 innings while allowing only nine hits and striking out 27 batters across a two-game win span against Montesano and Capital. At the plate, Polanco went 4-for-7 with two runs scored and an RBI. 

Tia Milloy, Redmond softball: The sophomore went 10-for-12 at the plate with eight hits across a three-game win span against Issaquah, Woodinville, and Inglemoor. 

Chase Cook, Ridgefield boys soccer: Scored the golden goal in overtime to lift the Spudders over Hockinson in overtime.

Jackson Cox, Toutle Lake baseball: University of Oregon pledge tossed a four-inning shutout with 12 strikeouts just one hit allowed in an 11-1 win over Onalaska.

Brandon Faire, University baseball: Finished 4 for 4 with a home run, a pair of doubles and seven RBI to fuel a 17-2 win over Cheney.

Will Floyd, Seattle Prep boys track and field: The junior logged a 21.40 in the 200-meter dash at a four-school meet, both a personal best and the top 200 mark in the state this season.

Max Fraser, Camas baseball: Tossed a one-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts to lead the Papermakers to a 6-0 win to compete a double-header sweep.

Makani Geisen, King’s Way Christian baseball: Tossed 12 strikeouts on his way to a complete game two-hitter and added two RBI on a 2 of 3 showing at the plate to lead the Knights to an 8-2 win over Kalama.

Tommy Meluskey, West Valley of Yakima baseball: Threw a five-inning no-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk allowed in a 10-0 win over Eisenhower.

Blake Speer, Mt. Spokane boys soccer: Scored four goals in a 5-0 win over Ferris, per The Spokesman-Review.

Isaac Teeples, Kamiakin boys track and field: Recorded a 1:53.79 in the 800-meter dash at the Pasco Invite on Friday, the top 800 mark in the state so far this season.

Brayden Platt, Yelm boys track and field: At the Skipper's Elite Athlete meet, Platt won the javelin with a throw of 192' 01, shot put with a throw of 55'10.5, and took third in discus with a throw of 147' 06. The sophomore's throw in javelin and shot put also places him as the top sophomore in the nation. He also scored 26 of the team's 66 points and led Yelm boys to the overall victory at the meet over 28 teams.
