Highlights: Washington football prospects, Ford Sports Performance rout Texas-based PPT Elite

Seattle-area training center beats 18-man team in return of out-of-season amateur club football game

Puyallup, Wash. — Kennedy Catholic's Xe'ree Alexander and Tumwater running back Carlos Matheney scored long-gain touchdown runs as Seattle-area training facility Ford Sports Performance beat Texas-based PPT Elite 63-0 in a padded game on Sunday afternoon at Chief Leschi High School.

The game featured standout high school prospects from both Washington and Texas, though only 18 players showed up from Texas, which helped FSP run away with the game.

Matheney, a 6-foot, 200-pound junior running back, finished with two touchdown runs. He holds an offer from Portland State and helped lead Tumwater to a 2A state runner-up finish in the fall.

Alexander, the younger brother of former standout Kennedy Catholic receiver Junior Alexander, is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound linebacker with offers from Arizona, Arizona State and Idaho.
