Kyler Ronquillo, Yelm boys track and field: The junior finished second in the long jump with a jump of 20’9”, and won the 110 hurdles with a personal best time of 14.67 at the Bob Shaner Invitational.

AJ Acoy McGloflin, Central Valley boys track and field: Hit a 6-feet, 10-inch mark in the high jump in a three-team 3A/4A Greater Spokane League meet on Thursday.

Zach Bowman, Chewelah baseball: Pitched a 10-strikeout no-hitter in six innings as Chewelah beat Asotin 10-0.

Scott Burdick, Napavine baseball: Call it an all-around performance. The senior drove in the go-ahead run and tossed three relief innings without a lift the Tigers to a 5-4 district win over Kalama.

Alexis Castillo-Corona, Rochester boys soccer: Notched a hat trick — three goals — in a 4-2 win over Shelton on the road.

Ethan Coleman, Olympia boys track and field: Won the 3,200 bay 16 seconds with an 8:53.77 at a home meet, then won the 1,600 through the downpour with a 4:15.6 at the Bob Shaner Invitational at Tumwater.

JR Ritchie, Bainbridge baseball: Logged 11 strikeouts opposite four hits and drove in a game-altering three-run home run to lift Bainbridge to a 7-2 win over Bonney Lake, clinching its first Class 3A regional berth since 2018.

Jackson Toms, Kelso baseball: Hit a walk-off single — his first hit of the game — in the bottom of the seventh to complete a 3A bi-district comeback win over Timberline, 4-3.

Alex Overbay, Tumwater baseball: Went 3-for-4 with five RBI and three runs in a 16-0 win over Centralia.

Audrey Allen, Gig Harbor softball: The Tides outfielder extended her home run streak to four consecutive games in a 13-3 loss to Yelm. She also hit a double and drove in two of her team’s three runs.

Kaitline Chapman, Walla Walla softball: The senior first baseman had three hits, including a two-run home run as part of her three RBI, and the Blue Devils avenged an earlier MCC loss by beating Hermiston, 9-5. Chapman hit her home run in the sixth inning, reported the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin.

Chloe Flerchinger, Shadle Park softball: The Highlanders’ fireballer tossed a four-inning perfect game (under the WIAA’s 10-run mercy rule), striking out 11 in the team’s 26-0 victory over East Valley of Spokane in 2A GSL action, reports the Spokesman-Review.

Zoe Hopkins, Lake Stevens softball: The sophomore socked a two-run home run in the first and collected another RBI on a walk as the Vikings handed No. 1 Jackson its first loss of the season in 4A Wesco play, 7-0.

Ella Hopper, South Kitsap track and field: The Wolves’ do-everything senior took over the lead in Washington in the 300-meter hurdles with her time of 44.22 seconds, a personal best, in a 4A SPSL dual meet against Puyallup. She also anchors all of the team’s state-leading relay teams.

Lauren Johnson, Skyview softball: The Storm’s catcher rocketed the game-winning RBI in the sixth inning to break a 3-3 tie, and also cracked a two-run home run as Skyview remained undefeated with a 4-3 win over Prairie, reports the Vancouver Columbian.

Allison Lapano, Riverside softball: Talk about a comeback, the Rams completed one against fellow 1A Northeast favorite Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls with nine runs in the seventh inning, capped by Lapano’s walk-off grand slam home run, to post a 13-10 victory. Lapano had four hits in the game, reports the Spokesman-Review.

Macie Milum, Richland track and field: She is not only the team’s starting point guard, but she can also run fast, too. In fact, she anchored the Bombers’ 4x100 relay team that went 49.19 seconds in a 4A MCC tri-meet against Southridge and Kamiakin to take over the No. 1 overall time in Washington. Others on the relay include Alyssa Marsh, Emma Wahlstrom and Hannah Chang.

Hailey Rath, Eatonville softball: The power-hitting outfielder had quite a 1A Evergreen doubleheader against co-league favorite Hoquiam. She hit a home run in the first game, then belted two more long balls, including a last-swing grand slam, and had eight RBI in the team’s 20-8 victory to finish off the sweep.

Maggie Skinner, Hockinson softball: The team’s ace pitcher is getting it done with the bat, too. She cranked two home runs and had four RBI in the Eagles’ 9-1 2A GSHL victory over second-place Columbia River. She also got the win out of the circle, striking out nine in a complete-game effort. She has five home runs during a three-game stretch, totaling 12 RBI, reports the Vancouver Columbian.
