Top stars, best performances in Week 6 of the 2022 Washington high school football season

An unreal special-teams stat line, incredible offensive outputs and more standout showings headline the sixth week of action

We're getting closer to crunch time in the regular season. With league titles and playoff spots on the line, the state's best are continuing to show out on the field.

These players stood out in Week 6.

Kaleb Ames, Montesano (1A)

Did it all in Montesano's upset over top-ranked Eatonville with two receiving touchdowns, an interception and a fumble recovery.

Carson Beckt, Stanwood (3A)

Scored in just about every way you can for the Spartans with a receiving, rushing and defensive touchdown to go with 287 all-purpose yards.

Aiden Brown, Kalama (2B)

Had 277 passing yards and two touchdowns, plus 100 yards rushing and a pair of scores in the Chinooks' loss to Onalaska.

Evan Berdan, Wenatchee (4A)

The defensive lineman put on his own personal block party last week, with four blocked kicks (three punts, one PAT). Also had eight tackles (two TFL, two sacks).

Lucian Cone, Southridge (3A)

Cone had an insane game against Lewis and Clark, tallying 377 all-purpose yards to go with four touchdowns in the win.

Ishaan Daniels, Bellevue (3A)

He went far just about every time he touched the ball, running for 171 yards on seven carries for four touchdowns.

Colby Danielson, Mead (3A)

Accounted for three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) in the Panthers' shutout of Ferris.

Malachi Durant, Puyallup (4A)

Had 11 catches for a season-high 198 yards, including two important touchdowns in a win over Olympia. One of them on a 70-yard catch-and-run for the Vikings.

Gabarri Johnson, Lincoln of Tacoma (3A)

Another week of Johnson torching defenses. This time, he accounted for 424 yards of total offense and all seven of Lincoln's touchdowns in a win over Stadium.

River Lien, Glacier Peak (4A)

The senior signal caller was nearly perfect - literally - by completing 19 of 20 passes for 313 yards and six touchdowns in a 4A Wesco win over Kamiak.

Jayden Limar, Lake Stevens (4A)

Back on the field once again, Limar made the most of this touches racking up 180 yards on the ground and five touchdowns.

Preston Michel, Wilbur-Creston-Keller (1B)

Rushed for three touchdowns, caught two passes for scores, returned an interception for a touchdown (31 yards) and brought back a kickoff 70 yards for another score. Also finished with 16 tackles in win over Republic.

Boen Phelps, Freeman (1A)

Made an impact on both sides of the ball with a pair of touchdown passes, a touchdown run and a defensive score.

Leo Pulalasi, Lakes (3A)

Found the end zone four times for the Lancers in a lopsided, non-league win over Battle Ground.

Jake Schakel, Emerald Ridge (4A)

Had a hand in all four of the Jaguars' touchdowns in a 28-7 win over Bethel. Threw for three and ran for the other and finished with 258 passing yards.

Dylan Spicer, Tenino (1A)

Carried the ball 23 times for 193 yards and four touchdowns in the Beavers' 50-14 blowout of Hoquiam.

Isaac Syph III, Kennedy Catholic (4A)

The junior was one of six Lancers' wide receivers to catch a touchdown pass (four catches, 78 yards), and also had a 99-yard kickoff return for a score in the team's win over Kentridge.

Reid Tennant, Camas (4A)

The Papermakers are starting to turn things around and Tennant had a big part in their latest win over Evergeen of Vancouver with 175 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Gunnar Trachte, Enumclaw (2A)

The Hornets' quarterback completed 14 of 17 passes for 250 yards and five touchdowns in a 2A SPSL win over Franklin Pierce.

Adam White, La Center (1A)

Came up big for the Wildcats in their comeback win over Mount Baker with a strip and score late in the game.

Jeremiah Wright, Lynden Christian (1A)

Tallied three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) in the Lyncs' huge 30-7 top-10 win over Nooksack Valley.

Ray Wright, Yelm (3A)

Linebacker was a catalyst in the team's defensive domination of Capital (held Cougars to minus-32 yards rushing) with seven tackles, including four TFL and two sacks in the victory for the No. 1 Tornados.
