Top 10 plays in Washington high school football, Week 9: Clutch defense, answered 'Hail Mary'

The end of the regular season is finally here and before teams were able to fully look ahead to the postseason, Week 9 was filled with incredible highlights.

9. Lake Stevens fell behind early, but Isaac Redford's interception in the first half set up a huge scoring play for the Vikings that completely flip-flopped momentum the rest of the way.

8. In what was almost an amazing scoring play, Vashon Island wide receiver Maxwell Delgado Williams hauled in a pass and broke multiple tackles before he was brought down at the 1-yard line.

7. Luck or awareness: you decide. Following a bad snap, Mount Si running back CJ Rose picked up the ball and heaved it downfield where it fell into the hands of Damien Wall who took it down inside the five.

6. In a "win-and-you're-in" game for Lakes, the Lancers wasted no time getting on the board when Aslan Fraser ran back the opening kickoff 70 yards for the touchdown in an eventual rout of Mount Tahoma.

4. After the defense came up big with a stop in the redzone, the Ferndale offense took over inside its own five where Isaiah Carlson ripped off a 94-yard touchdown run to put the Golden Eagles up by two scores late in the game.

3. Showing off the speed and athleticism of the Anacortes defense, Hayden John stepped in front of a Lynden pass in the red zone, picked it off and ran it back 95 yards the other way for a touchdown right before halftime.

1. To cap off one the most wild sequences of the entire regular season, Eastmont quarterback Luke Gale heaved the Hail Mary pass toward the end zone where it was tipped and fell right into the hands of Adrien Ruffins for the win.
