Spud Anderson, Kamiak girls track and field
A fourth-place finish by the Kamiak girls 4x400 relay team at the Shoreline Invitational pushed the Knights past Curtis in the team standings for first place, besting the Vikings by a single point for the team title. Kamiak placed first in three events with Kalia Estes winning the 100- and 300-meter hurdles and Bella Hasan winning the triple jump.

Bradley and the Knights handed Jackson its first loss of the season last week in a 2-1 4A Wesco victory. The win was the Knights' first over the Timberwolves since 2021 which was also a one-run triumph (3-2). Samantha Rohwer hit the go-ahead, two-run blast in the fourth inning.
Eric Fiedler, Enumclaw baseball
Wins over Steilacoom and Fife last week secured the 2A SPSL title for Fiedler and the Hornets. Fiedler is in his 18th year leading the Enumclaw program with this year's team sitting with a 16-2 overall record and 14-0 league record. With one game left this week, the Hornets could make it a perfect run through their league.
Chris Mitalas, Mountlake Terrace boys soccer
Not everything has gone to plan for Mountlake Terrace this season, but Mitalas and the Hawks recorded a huge 2-1 win over Shorewood in 3A Wesco last week. It was just the sixth win of the season for the Hawks, but the win also handed the Stormrays their first loss of the season.
Matt Potter, Pasco boys soccer
With a 3-1 win over Chiawana last week, Potter and the Pasco boys soccer team locked up the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia Conference title. Potter, the 2020-21 NFHS Northwest Section Boys Soccer Coach of the Year, and his Bulldogs squad went 15-1 in the regular season with the postseason now ahead of them.
