Washington (WIAA) state track 2023: Every 2A/3A/4A high school champion, medalist (Day 2)

Federal Way boys sweep top-3 in 4A triple jump; Hana Moll, the nation's best high school pole vaulter, finishes prep career with state title

TACOMA, Wash. — The 2023 WIAA 2A/3A/4A State Track Meet picked back up on Friday at Mount Tahoma Stadium and more champions were crowned and records fell.

Hana Moll, the best high school pole vaulter in the country, won her first Class 3A pole vault title after finishing second to her twin sister Amanda Moll as a junior at the three-day event known as "Star Track."

Moll, who is signed with Washington, has the best high school outdoor pole vault mark (15-0) in the country this spring.

Amanda, who has the country's second best outdoor mark this spring with 14-7 1/4, scratched ahead of Friday's final. Capitol coach Tim Reilly told SBLive the fellow UW signee who placed first in the event at the vaunted Texas Relays in late March is worn out.
