PUYALLUP, Wash. - Next-generation Lincoln High School in Seattle has the look of a winner.

Wren Wagner scored the game's only goal in the 27th minute, and the top-seeded Lynx won its first WIAA title in any sports since reopening in 2019 by defeating Ballard, 1-0, for the Class 3A boys soccer championship Saturday afternoon at Sparks Stadium.

A couple hours later, Skyline beat Puyallup, 2-0, to win the Class 4A crown. Collin McKenna and Braden Ferreira scored seven minutes apart late in the second half to break up a scoreless tie.
