Jamison Philip scores 13 points in Bulldogs' 44-31 win over 2A CWAC rival Prosser in state semifinals
YAKIMA, Wash.. - Ellensburg High School is playing for a third consecutive WIAA Class 2A girls basketball championship.
The Bulldogs had to beat chief 2A CWAC rival Prosser a fourth time - 44-31 - to get there.
After Naomi Chavez's Naomi Chavez's three-point play gave Prosser a 29-28 lead early in the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs responded by scoring the next seven points - highlighted by a Jamison Philip straightaway 3-pointer.
